USCIS will no longer reject all I-485 application packets where one of the application packets is accompanied by an incorrect fee.

If an applicant mails separate I-485 application packets for each family member in the same envelope (enclosing separate checks for each I-485), and one of the dependent’s filing fees is incorrect, USCIS will only reject the I-485 with the wrong filing fee. If the principal and other dependents” I-485 applications have the correct filing fees, they will be accepted by the Service Center.
